This includes employees or distributors based overseas who are marketing your products. Costs for maintaining the reps salaries, office and travel costs can be claimed.
Costs associated with registering and protecting your intellectual property are also eligible. Simply include copies of invoices and payment details.
You may either claim a percentage of all your international phone calls or add an additional 3% to your overall claim once all the other parts are added up.
If you have paid for any international buyers to come and visit your business, you can claim these costs. Some additional criteria may apply.
These are consultants engaged to assist with market research, marketing campaigns or other types of activities to assist in your international marketing.
The cost of samples given away to international buyers can be claimed, plus the freight cost. The cost of the sample has to cover production only, and can't include any profit.
For international trade shows, you can claim all the costs of exhibiting. For Australian shows, a percentage can be claimed based on the number of international visitors attending.
